Nauzet made an important double save just three minutes into the half=time as Glacis got off to a fast start. Our first real opportunity came in the 26th minute when Nico Pinto played a ball over the Glacis defence, which Alvaro Romero got on the end of, but Harry Victor was quick off his line to close him down.
We broke the deadlock in the 36th minute when Nano's long throw was flicked on to the back post by Gabri Cardozo, and our captain Bernardo Lopes was unmarked to volley his effort into the net.
Glacis replied instantly with a chance of their own when Simon Van Duivenbooden found himself one-on-one with Nauzet, and his shot was saved. The rebound fell kindly to the Dutch striker whose shot struck the post.
Our lead was doubled just before half-time. Nano's low cross was cleared by the Glacis captain; the ball fell to Nico Pinto, who curled his effort into the bottom corner to make it 2-0 at the break.
Juanma introduced Christian Rutjens, Ayman Elghosbashy and Alex Mula in the second half, alongside Graeme Torrilla in the 33rd minute to replace Aly Coulibaly who picked up an injury.
The Imps comfortably saw out the remainder of the half to secure all three points on the back of their European success in Larne just a few days ago.
