YOUTH TEAMS SET FOR GAÑAFOTE CUP
Lincoln Red Imps is proud to provide both the U12 Red and U10 Black squads with the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Gañafote Cup Cádiz in Jerez this weekend.
The tournament is organised by the same team behind one of the biggest youth football competitions in Spain. After recently taking the U12 Black squad to Huelva, coach Keilan Prescott believes the event is among the very best the club has experienced.
"It is with immense pride and honour that we can provide both the U12 Red and U10 Black with the opportunity to compete in the Gañafote Cup Cádiz," said Prescott.
"We recently took our U12 Black to Huelva to compete in the biggest tournament hosted by these organisers, and I can say it is one of the best, if not the best, tournaments we have been a part of.
"The level of competition is incredible. Every single team could easily win the tournament, so our players will have to compete in every game. For the purposes of development, which is why we participate in these tournaments, this is phenomenal.
"We have just come back from other tournaments where the players were pushed to their limits and have really grown. We hope to take that momentum into this weekend. This is not the end of our June tournament schedule, but this weekend is going to be a true test and one we are really looking forward to."

Thank You to Men in Need and Jayne Wink
Lincoln Red Imps would also like to extend its sincere gratitude to Men in Need and Jayne Wink for their generous donation of £800 to the three Lincoln Red Imps youth teams managed by Keilan Prescott.
The funds were raised through a charity auction evening organised by Men in Need, which supported both the charity's ongoing work and the development of the youth teams.
The donation will help support future tournament travel, allowing the teams to continue accessing high-level competition and valuable development opportunities.
Everyone involved with the teams would like to thank Men in Need and Jayne Wink for their support and generosity.
